DESIGN BUILD

CES has substantial Experience in performing as Contract Specialist for VDOT’s Design Build Program as well as QA/QC for the Design Builder Teams

Specifically, CES has supported VDOT’s Design Build Program on both a District level as well as on a Program level. CES has developed numerous preconstruction schedules for Design Build Projects in NOVA as well as performed review and analysis on multiple Design Build Projects including the Route 7 Corridor Improvements, Route 7 Truck Climbing Lanes, and the Route 606 Widening Projects. This knowledge and experience of development of Contract Time Determination Reports (CTDR) has facilitated problem resolution of challenges and administrative issues to allow for successful completion of numerous complex projects.

CES has supported VDOT’s Design-Build Program on a statewide level as a subconsultant to Warner on the current nonprofessional Innovative Project Delivery Contract as well as supporting a current Limited Services term contract for Design Build and P3.

CES has also provided support to the Design Build teams on several projects providing QA and QC service across the Commonwealth including development of the QA and QC management documents for the projects.

We have fully certified QAMs with PE/DBIA/CCM credentials and QCMs with DBIA/CCMs
