This project consists of constructing 1.675 miles of auxiliary lanes on westbound I-66 in Falls Church, Fairfax County, VA. The construction is being pursued in the most traveled section of the I-66 Interstate Highway located very close to the Metro. The site team is closely coordinating work with WMATA representatives and in compliance with their adjacent construction manual.
CES Consulting LLC(CES) is responsible for providing construction management and inspection services for project. CES Consulting has provided a construction manager, two inspectors and the project inspector for the project. (more…)
This project involved performing major preventive Bridge maintenance & Repair for three (3) bridges at the Glebe Road Interchange on I-395 in Alexandria, VA. Main scope of the work for these three projects as follows:
Deck Repair, deck milling and LMC-VE overlay.
Painting superstructure steel and bearings.
Deck joint elimination and / or deck joint reconstruction.
Evaluate bearing replacement as required for joint elimination.
Substructure Concrete delamination / spall and crack repair.
Application of waterproofing to sub structure
This project consists of constructing 7.2 miles of 12-foot wide full-depth shoulders for I-95 in Prince William County, VA. The planned work is being built in heavily traveled corridor with concurrent I-95 Express Lanes being constructed simultaneously alongside this project. Extensive MOT coordination and conflict mitigation is required. CES Consulting LLC (CES) performed pre-construction and construction management and inspection services for project.
